The Unit at the L&D is a recognised national centre for the management of mesh complications. Mr Fayyad is the clinical lead for the urogynaecology unit.
Referrals can be made via Choose & Book or by letter directly addressed to:
Out Patients Booking Dept Luton & Dunstable University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Lewsey Road, Luton LU4 0DZ
Procedures undertaken in our Unit include the following:
Clinic Name: Urogynaecology clinic
Clinic Type: Adult
Monday Mornings (clinic commences at 08.30)
Wednesday all day (every 4th Wednesday in month)
To families of all our patients, we wanted to give a reminder that sadly, at both Bedford and the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital, we are still unable to allow any visitors on site, unless there are exceptional circumstances, for example in maternity or children’s departments, or for those patients who are receiving palliative treatment at the end of their lives, on a case-by-case basis.
At both our hospitals changes are being made to support services, and we would now ask that you contact the wards using the direct lines found here for Bedford and here for Luton and Dunstable University Hospital.
