Mortuary Services (GP information)
Introduction
The Mortuary is located in the Pathology block of the hospital and provides services to the L&D, police and clinicians in the local area.

- Refrigerated community and hospital body storage at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital
- Viewing room at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital
- Hospital and Coroner-requested autopsies
- Cremation Certificates
Clinics
The Mortuary is staffed by two full time and one part time members, Monday to Friday, 08.30-16.00.
Funeral Director access is available from 09.00-16.00.
Bleep 555 service is available for urgent release of bodies for religious reasons.
