Visiting is restricted to parents and grandparents. Grandparents can only visit if with a parent between 15.30 – 20.30
For additional information about visiting please contact the neonatal unit directly.
We are regularly reviewing our visiting policy and are currently piloting pre-booked visiting appointments on some of our wards with the overall objective of allowing visitors to all relevant areas and wards across both hospital sites as soon as it is safe to do so. Please note that if there are significant changes to the local rates of infection, we may need to put full restrictions back in place at short notice for the safety of our patients and staff.
For patients attending face to face appointments, we encourage you to have a rapid-results lateral flow test and obtain a negative result in advance of your appointments at one of several rapid test centres across Bedfordshire.
This includes patients and support partners attending Maternity appointments and patients attending Outpatient appointments.
Full details about where to get tested is available here.
