Amanda, Paula and Aakifah were one of a group of NHS heroes who got the chance to attend a special ‘NHS Big Tea’ hosted by The Duke and of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace earlier this week, as a thank you for their incredible work tackling the Covid pandemic.

The event in the Palace gardens took place alongside thousands of NHS Big Teas being hosted across the country in back gardens, schools, hospitals and community settings to show thanks for the incredible people who have been there for us all during the pandemic.

Pictured at the event are (from left) Amanda Palfreyman-Jones, Head of EPRR & Business Continuity, Paula Owsiejckuk, Restaurant Assistant for the Swannery Restaurant and Aakifah Begum, Charity Trust & Grants Officer, who were selected by our senior team to represent the Trust.
