Education and Training

Dr Mark Manford graduated from UCL in 1985, before going on to train in medicine in Cardiff and London and then in neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neuro‐surgery, Charing Cross Hospital and the Wessex Neurological Centre. Dr Manford undertook his MD in epilepsy at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and a three month sabbatical at the Montreal Neurological Institute in 1996.

Experience

Dr Manford is the regional specialist in epilepsy in adults and the coordinator for the middle year for medical students at Addenbrooke’s. At Bedford, Dr Manford has specialist clinics in MND, botulinum toxin treatment and is involved in the TIA service. He has been a Consultant in Bedford and Cambridge for 19 years.

Research

He is also the author of an epilepsy text book and has also co-authored a textbook of neurology for undergraduates.
