Experience

He became anaesthetic SHO at Nottingham University Hospitals in 1978, taking time out to lecture in anatomy at Stanford University, California in 1980. On his return to the UK, Dr Niblett became a registrar in anaesthesia and critical care at the Royal Free Hospital, moving on to become senior registrar at Oxford Hospitals in 1982. In 1986 he joined Bedford Hospital as a consultant in critical care and anaesthesia.
