Research & publications

I was involved in a multi-centre prospective trial –Relationship Between Carotid IMT/plaque, Endothelial dysfunction with Coronary artery disease Prevalence and Severity in asymptomatic diabetes’.  This trial aimed to evaluate the correlation between carotid IMT/Plaque, Endothelial dysfunction with coronary atherosclerosis prevalence and its severity.

This trial was sponsored by the ‘British Cardiac Research Trust’ and I held 3 years research grant from the same trust. I have recruited patients from 3 NHS hospitals in North London and led to being awarded MD (Research degree) from UCL, London.  My research has been published in the leading medical journals and I presented my clinical and academic work in various reputed national and international conferences (British Cardiovascular Society, ACI, American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, Euro PCR and CRF CTO plus)
