Thank you for considering volunteering at our hospitals. 

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the local community and it also ensures a smooth running of the hospital operations on a day to day basis. It can benefit both you and the organisation a great deal. We are honoured to have such a loyal & dedicated teams of volunteers who have given 40,000 hours of their time each year – for which we are eternally grateful.

People volunteer for various reasons from wanting to give something back to the hospital for the treatment they have received to the fact that they are retired or just have some spare time. If you are interested in a career in the NHS and want to know what it’s like, why not get in touch today to find out more. Volunteering is not work experience – it will nonetheless boost your CV & personal statement. You will however, need to demonstrate that helping others is very important to you and it is something you are passionate about.
