Practice Education

Welcome to the Practice Education Team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are a crucial arm of the Trust, dedicated to the development and growth of every member of the Trust. We support staff, students, and enrolees through learning and education, to achieve excellent career progression, staff retention, and ultimately, the delivery of outstanding patient care.

We are constantly innovating and developing inclusive programmes, platforms, and opportunities for students and staff alike, to acquire relevant knowledge, and progress on their professional journey towards achieving excellence. The Practice Education Team is made up of different work streams, working in synergy to help the Trust THRIVE, and boast an effective workforce of adequately trained professionals.

The Practice Education Team consists of highly trained individuals with diverse backgrounds across all of our work streams, delivering impactful and career-boosting training. Our work streams cover every aspect of the Trust’s workforce; from early starters who are still considering a career in the health sector, to those looking to refresh and top up their skills and knowledge; and even those who have been away and are returning to professional practice within the Trust.
