Oliver McGowan Training

The training aims to ensure the health and care workforce have the right skills and knowledge to provide safe, compassionate and informed care to autistic people and people with a learning disability. The Oliver McGowan Training comes in two tiers and is designed so all staff working across all CQC registered services receive the right level of mandatory training.

Please note that this is a legal requirement and we strongly advise that all staff complete the training as soon as possible, however the Trust recognises that it will take time for all staff to complete. Therefore if staff have not completed this training for 2025/2026, it must not impact on pay or performance.
