We know that patients with obesity face daily challenges that others take for granted, such as getting out of bed or sitting on a chair. We also understand that some of our patients feel nervous about coming to a public space or the clinic for the first time. At our unique facility privacy and accessibility for all is key and we have ensured that all of our patients needs are catered for.
Our clinic is set aside from other outpatient areas in the hospital and is solely for the use of patients visiting the Obesity clinic. The unit is designed with our patients in mind and has fantastic accessibility (wide door frames for wheelchair and stretcher access). The clinic has equipment specifically designed for bariatric patients including chairs, beds, wheelchairs, and weighing scales.
