Schools & Youth Support Thank You!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Over the Festive period we received incredible support from our local schools; with choirs, gift deliveries and Jolly Jumper days!

School Choirs

Having school choirs perform in the hospital is one of my favourite festive events! Thank you so much to Ferrars Academy, Hadrian Academy, Richmond Hill, St Christopher’s Academy, The Meads Primary Academy and Whipperley Infant Academy– as well as bringing lots of festive cheer they raised an incredible £450.28 for our NICU Parent Accommodation Appeal!

One member of staff said: “Thank you so much for making my day, my shift doesn’t finish until 10pm and that has really made me smile!”

With a visitor also saying: “My son is currently in theatre and hearing these children sing is just what I needed.”

Give a Gift Appeal 2024

We received over 700 gifts! Beechwood Park School raised a fantastic £2,968.51 at their Festive Fayre and used nearly £1,000 to purchase gifts. We had deliveries from Chalk Hills Academy, Denbigh High School, Harlington Juniors FC, Ivel Valley School, Katherine Warrington School, Lealands High School, Luton Sixth Form and Watling Lower School. Thank you all for making a patient smile this Christmas!

Jolly Jumper Day

We raised a fantastic £433.44 thank you to Russell Lower School, Westfield Nursery and William Austin Infant School for taking part and raising funds for our NICU Parent Accommodation and Children’s Ward.

High Beeches Primary School also donated a fantastic £511.50 from their Festive events!
